New facilities help boaties get on with maintenance

20/6/2022

New all-weather maintenance facilities are making it easier for Auckland boat owners to conduct maintenance in all weather. This includes a new covered shed at Gulf Harbour Marina’s boatyard, 1,000m2 of new under canopy boat yard with additional shed space at Tamaki Marine Park (pictured), and extensive covered areas at the newly upgraded Half Moon Bay site.

While haulouts and contractors in the main boating centres are often fully-booked in the spring and summer periods, covered work spaces mean that the work can be spread out across the year and can be conducted in all weather.

We recommend getting your boat work done early. For a directory of haulouts in New Zealand, visit www.marinepests.nz/haulouts
